PLEASE FILL OUT AN APPLICATION FOR ADOPTION! Please do not call the shelter, until you have completed an application and are ready to make an apt for a meet and greet. Inquiries will not be answered at this time. Zepplin came to us as a stray that was never claimed by an owner. He is about 1 year old and our guess is a German shepherd/rott x. He is about 1 year old. He can be unsure of new people at first, but with time and patience he bonds to people and becomes very silly. He is a big boy around 70lbs. He will need regular grooming to keep his fluffy coat lush and shiny! He is a bit weary of new people so older kids may be best 12+. You must be willing to give him time to trust you. He briefly met a cat when he first came in and did not seem to mind but we will be re-introducing him to a cat now that he is more comfortable. He will be neutered on the 9th and can go home the next day. He can be met and placed on hold before then. He does like to play with female dogs. Please research POSITIVE training techniques before applying to adopt. We care very much about your application answers and they are reviewed for completeness and the best match. Please fill out an application on the included link: https://threerivershs.org/adoption-app-2/ The adoption fee of $200 includes spay/neuter, current vaccines, microchip, free vet visit, 30 days of pet health insurance, puppy book, and engraved ID tag. ****ADOPTIONS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY AFTER WE RECEIVE AN ADOPTION APPLICATION. threerivershs.org PLEASE DO NOT CALL OR MESSAGE AND ASK HOW TO ADOPT Big D came to us as a stray so unfortunately we have no history on this handsome guy. We think he is about 1.5 years old and currently weighs 61 pounds. He may be a mix of many breeds including Cattle dog and many more! If living with another dog, a female would be best for Big D rather than another male dog. He is very affectionate and loves being petted. He still has some puppy behaviors like using his mouth in play, so any kids in his new home should be older. He is good on leash and keeps his kennel clean. He would enjoy an active life with his new family. No cats, please. His adoption fee of $175 includes neuter, current vaccines, microchip, free vet visit, offer of 30 days of pet health insurance, and engraved ID tag. View full description »

Gary
GaryGaryGary
  • Pit Bull Terrier
  • Spayed/Neutered
  • Up-to-date with routine shots

Gary was brought in as a stray and wasnt claimed by an owner. He is about 4 years old and he loves treats. Gary can be both friendly and affectionate, and yet sometime unfocused and disinterested in what the human end of the leash is asking him to do. He pulls on leash, he jumps up, he can be gently mouthy but he does know how to sit on cue. He is a big dork and he probably has had very little structure and expectations placed on him. He doesn't have a great respect of boundaries, but he means no harm. He will bark at us for attention when he is in his kennel, but when taken outside, just wants to go where he wants to go. He met a very playful and friendly female dog and did very well with her. He presents as a bit of a challenge due to his "pulling has always worked for me" behavior, but can definitely learn in the right environment. We also believe we will see a nice change in focus and behavior once he is neutered! Gary's adoption fee is $150 and includes neuter, current vaccines, microchip, free vet visit, 30 days free pet health insurance, and custom engraved ID tag. View full description »
