Honey
Honey
  • Domestic Short Hair
  • Spayed/Neutered
  • Housebroken
  • Up-to-date with routine shots

Well, where does one start for miss Honey! She is 4 years old and is definitely her own cat! For the previous owners described Honey as an unpredictable feline. She will truly only eat one type of dry cat food. She deeply dislikes other cats and would NOT do well with cats in her house. She has lived with dogs in the past but would probably prefer to be living without any other animals in her next home. Honey does best when left to herself. Sometimes she loves and cuddles but not always being petted. She likes to hide and lay in windows. She really does not like cats or children. Her previous owners shared, "She is very odd but can be very comforting and sweet." Are you still reading?! If you are still interested please call to make an appointment or visit the shelter and we'll tell you more! View full description »

Ena came to us as a stray with her two babies. She was wonderful with her kittens and now it's her turn to find a forever home. She is a quiet kitty here at the shelter and keeps her kennel clean. She would love to explore a new home instead of being kept on a kennel all day long. She is a bit shy at first but warms up quickly. She has not met other cats or dogs here at the shelter except in a separate cage. She is a pretty girl that would love to meet you! Her adoption fee of $65 includes her spay, current vaccines, microchip, free vet visit, testing for FIV and FeLV (negative). View full description »

Fluffy came to us as an owner surrender with her kitty friend, T.C. She is beautiful, calm and about 7 years old, She was using a pet door to go potty but we feel she'd adjust quickly to an inside litterbox. She has lived with another dog in her previous home and done well. She likes time rubs and catching flies! She ignores other animals that are nice to her. Since she is a long haired kitty she will need to be brushed regularly to prevent matts from forming. His adoption of fee is $65 and includes neuter, microchip, vaccines, free vet visit that is good for 2 weeks from adoption. View full description »

T.C. was surrendered to our shelter due to allergies in grand children's home. He was reported to be 20 years old but does not seem that old! He is quiet and friendly and came to us with his buddy Fluffy. He mostly ignores nice dogs and hisses at new cats at first other than Fluffy, until comfortable. He is gentle and affectionate, but is a little scared of the vacuum. He has been allowed outside in a previous home but we recommend he lives as an inside cat only, especially with his age. Please consider giving T.C. a quiet retirement home. She would so appreciate your love! His adoption fee of $30 includes neuter, microchip, current vaccines, and free vet visit within 7 days. He would love to live with his friend Fluffy. View full description »

  • Up-to-date with routine shots
  • Prefers home without small kids

PLEASE FILL OUT AN APPLICATION FOR ADOPTION! Please do not call the shelter, until you have completed an application and are ready to make an apt for a meet and greet. Inquiries will not be answered at this time. Skipper and Gilligan came to us as very terrified puppies at about 3 months old. Both boys have been in a loving, wonderful, and patient foster home that has been working with them non stop to try and socialize them. They are about 5-6 months now and still very scared of almost everything but they have made progress. They do seem to bond more comfortably with females, however, their foster parent is a woman so they may just need consistency with the man in the house. Skipper and Gilligan need to be adopted with another dog in the household that is confident. These boys will not be adopted into a home together as they are too fearful together and really need to be separated. These pups are not for first time dog owners, they will probably always be slow to adjust to new scenarios. A confident dog and owner will greatly help push them to success to at least be able to live comfortably in a home environment. These boys need a QUIET home with NO children in the household. They would be great for someone that works from home or is retired. They are cuddly and affectionate after getting acquainted with their person. These 2 boys had a really rough start to life and they just need a home that understands each of them. We will provide you plenty of training/reading material to help with their transition as well as a reference to a wonderful dog trainer here locally. Gilligan and Skipper will be met offsite at the foster home for the least stressful meet and greet. Please research POSITIVE training techniques before applying to adopt. We care very much about your application answers and they are reviewed for completeness and the best match. Please fill out an application on the included link: https://threerivershs.org/adoption-app-2/ The adoption fee of $175 includes spay/neuter, current vaccines, microchip, free vet visit, 30 days of pet health insurance, puppy book, and engraved ID tag. Weebles and Wobbles came to us as owner surrenders. They both came in very unhealthy and Wobbles was extremely matted. We are estimating Weebles to be about8-9 years old and Wobbles about 8 years old. They are both great with cats and have been around small dogs and they seem to do just fine. No kids for Weebles please. Weebles is a typical barky chihuahua that truly in Chihuahua spirit decides who he does and does not like. He is small but mighty! He is a lovebug but definitely has a preference of women over men. Wobbles is just a chill guy that likes to hang out and have naps at his leisure. He is partially blind and has some cysts here and there on his body as they do when they get older. Both Weebles and Wobbles are set to have dentals on the 21st of this month and then they can go home the next day! They are not required to be adopted together, but they wouldn’t mind if someone wanted both of them. Please research POSITIVE training techniques before applying for adoption. She does seem to enjoy certain dogs. If you have never owned a hound before this is probably not the gal for you. Hounds are a special kind of dog that are known for being hard headed but also very loyal companions. Jessie is a sweet girl that needs some regular tlc in her life. Izzy and her furry roommate Lotto came to us as owner surrenders. The owner said she needed to move and couldnt take the dogs with her, but also that she was working 12 hours a day and the dogs were inside with no access to a yard. She is a bit sad at all the recent changes, and she hasnt really interacted with other dogs besides Lotto, but she shows no aggression toward us. She chooses to come forward and near us, although we can see the sadness in her eyes. Her owner had both dogs for 4 years and never took them to a vet. Give her time, this sweetheart deserves a much better life! We think that she is between 7-8 years old. Pupdate - Izzy is definitely more relaxed and she's much more outgoing and happy. She's loving the yummy treats, and continues to make big progress! She easily meets new dogs, she is enjoying petting and affection, and she is doing her best to hold her potty until she gets outside. She is much cuter than her photos! Izzy should probably not have unsupervised time around livestock. She thinks they are fun to bark at! Izzy's adoption fee is $125 and includes spay, current vaccines, microchip, free vet visit, 30 days free pet health insurance, and custom engraved ID tag. View full description »
